A Morning Prayer

Romams 5:4-5 There’s more to come: We continue to shout our praise even when we’re hemmed in with troubles, because we know how troubles can develop passionate patience in us, and how that patience in turn forges the tempered steel of virtue, keeping us alert for whatever God will do next. In alert expectancy such as this, we’re never left feeling shortchanged. Quite the contrary—we can’t round up enough containers to hold everything God generously pours into our lives through the Holy Spirit!

Oh Father God I thank you for the word on today. Lord thank you for life on this day God. Lord Jesus on this morning we sing praises and Thanksgiving to your name. Lord we thank you that you thought it not robbery to arise us from our beds this morning. Sometimes we get so busy in life that we forget the gift of life. Lord it wasn’t anything that we did or any action on our part that had bearing on life today. But simply by your grace and mercy that was truly sufficient. We ask right now in the name of Jesus that you forgive us all of our sins God we need you even more today than we did yesterday. God we know that apart from you we can’t do anything Lord but in you all things are possible through you we can do all things. Lord so we thank you for the opportunity we thank you for that proclamation we thank you for knowing in our hearts that we can walk this out in action. God right now on this day I pray for our minds to continually and steadfastly be in you God we need you moment-by-moment. Please don’t leave us to our own thoughts. Father I pray right now in the name of Jesus that Holy Spirit infuses our minds and our thoughts. I pray that as we speak let our tongue be seasoned with your word. I pray that if someone is in need of prayer that we won’t hesitate to lift up a prayer for them. Got that our troubles are producing patience God and we know that it’s all working together for your glory it is in Christ Jesus name that we pray Hallelujah and Amen.

I'm just a girl who loves God. What better way to spread a little light in this dark world than to share the goodness of Jesus Christ.
