Life Verse?

I posted this to facebook figured I share here as well.

About ten years ago this professor asked his class what was our life verse. It really got me thinking with all the hundreds of thousands of verses and how do I just pick one?
After careful thought and much prayer Jeremiah 29:11 resonated in my spirit more than any other. Why? Because this verse gave hope. This verse let me know that no matter what no matter where I’m at God knows the plans he has for my future. Not just any old plans; plans that are going to prosper me to a future and ending that I can hope for ending that I can expect an ending that he can say job well done and I can be content and pleased in knowing that I was used by him to fullfill.
So I asked you today what is your life verse? What is that one verse that you go to to get you through each day? What is that verse that you remind yourself of to keep you on the right path? I would love to hear from you. Comment your life verse below. God bless πŸ™

I'm just a girl who loves God. What better way to spread a little light in this dark world than to share the goodness of Jesus Christ.

  1. There are so many to choose from and it depends on the situation but I think the one that I think of the most, is love the Lord your God with all you hear, mind and soul, and love your neighbour the same. Of course paraphrasing there πŸ™‚ God bless you πŸ™‚

  2. It changed over time and circumstances, but one has stuck with me and has proven to be true for me: John 15:5 – “I am the Vine, you are the branches. If you remain in Me and I in you, you will bear much fruit. Apart from Me, you will accomplish nothing.”

  3. β€œHe will call upon Me, and I will answer. I will be with him in times of trouble; I will rescue him and honor him.” -Psalm 91:15 I love this verse because it reminds me that no matter how many times I stumble, The Lord our God will keep me from falling. Thanks for sharing this post, and bless you.
